Aleksandra Lis, z domu Siwoń.

Jestem absolwentką Wydziału Architektury Politechniki Wrocławskiej, obecnie pracownikiem naukowym na Uniwersytecie Przyrodniczym, doktorem habilitowanym nauk technicznych w dziedzinie architektura i urbanistyka, w specjalności architektura krajobrazu.

Pomimo kierunku wykształcenia, znacznie bardziej niż architekturą interesuję się Człowiekiem. W działaniach naukowych zgłębiam, w ramach psychologii środowiskowej, problematykę relacji pomiędzy Człowiekiem a otaczającą go przestrzenią, zaś poza nauką i dydaktyką akademicką Człowiek jest tematem moich malarskich studiów w rozmaitych impresjach portretowych.

I have graduated from the Wroclaw University of Science and Technology, Faculty of Architecture. Currently I am a research scientist and an academic teacher at the Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences, with post-doctoral degree in field of architecture and urban planning.

Despite of the type of education I am not so interested in architecture as in The Man. As a scientist I explore issue of relationship between The Man and environment and, aside from my research and didactic work, The Man is a subject of my painting studies in various portrait impressions
